Lyla Adwan-Kamara - Team Lead
Lyla is Team Leader on Ghana Somubi Dwumadie (Ghana Participation Programme). She leads all aspects of the programme on behalf of the lead consortium partner, Options.
Prior to joining Options, Lyla was CEO at a User-Led Deaf and Disabled People's Organisation in London for seven years, leading policy work and advice and advocacy programmes, including hate crime prevention, for people with disabilities, including people with mental health disabilities. Lyla's previous experience spans both the corporate and development sectors.

Vivian F. Sarpomaa Fiscian - Leadership and Governance Advisor
Vivian is a result-driven development sociologist with expertise in gender and social inclusion. She has over 20 years of professional experience, working with national and international development organisations, including advocacy coalitions and international contracting firms as an independent consultant.
She has undertaken a number of international consultancy assignments in parts of Africa for US agencies, UN agencies, and other international donors including USAID and UKAid, and the World Bank, both nationally and internationally.

Philip Hand - Programme Manager
Philip has over 20 years’ experience in the development and humanitarian sector, leading and supporting programmes in Africa, Asia and the Caribbean that focused on inclusion, organisational development, health system strengthening and disaster preparedness and response.
He is passionate about quality and has been instrumental in developing programme quality assessment systems, occupational standards and the Humanitarian Inclusion Standards for Older People and People with Disabilities.

Lionel Sakyi, Research Coordinator
Lionel is a researcher with interests in mental health and community-based interventions, rights-based approaches, and policy responses to mental health in Ghana. With extensive experience spanning over a decade, he is adept at research coordination and facilitating the implementation of diverse projects in Ghana, contributing to the advancement of mental health care and community development.
As a research coordinator for the King’s College London team and the program, he is responsible for coordinating and providing support for the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of District Mental Health Care Plans in demonstration sites, as well as capturing and documenting learning from these sites and the overall program

Edem Anyomi Korsi - Finance Manager
orsi Edem Anyomi is our new (and first!) Finance Manager on the Ghana programme. He is a finance professional with over thirteen years experience in international development and private sectors, specifically within project accounting, audit, financial management & reporting, grants & fund management, and general business operations in not-for-profit and commercially oriented organisations.
Prior to joining us as Finance Manager, he held senior finance positions with Adam Smith International and DAI Global LLC on FCDO and USAID funded projects.

Anthony Osei Asare - Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Advisor
Anthony has over 12 years’ experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL) in the areas of health, food security, agriculture, women empowerment, education, water and sanitation, housing, disability and local governance.
He is a member of the Ghana Monitoring and Evaluation Forum (GMEF) and the Ghana Institute of Planners (GIP). Anthony joined the Tropical Health Team on the FCDO-funded mental health and disability Ghana Somubi Dwumadie as the Programme MEL Advisor.

Dorcas Mensah - Communications Manager
Dorcas is an Inclusive Communications expert with several years of experience working with people with disabilities and mental health conditions, abused women, girls, and children.
As the Communications Manager for Options Health and Inclusion Ghana, she manages internal and external communications and brand assets. She also manages the programme’s relationship with the media and trains journalists and editors on how to appropriately report on disability, mental health, and suicides.Dorcas is at the forefront of creating and executing effective marketing communications strategies that have amplified the visibility and reputation of Options in Ghana and beyond.

Dr. Kenneth A. Ae-Ngibise - Technical Adviser
Ken, a research scientist with expertise in Psychology and Epidemiology, brings over 15 years of experience in epidemiological research. During this time, he has successfully overseen and managed numerous multi-country research projects in Ghana, contributing significantly to advancing global mental health.
As a dedicated team member of Kings College London, Ken is responsible for coordinating various activities. This includes overseeing the development, implementation, and evaluation of the impact of district mental healthcare plans for scaling up mental health services to reduce the large treatment gap.

Faustina Kodjo - Administrative Assistant
Faustina Ebellah Kodjo is an accomplished Administration Assistant within the Programmes department, with over a decade of experience in operations, client services, and finance. With a strong banking background, she excels in customer request tracking, supporting small business and enhancing overall satisfaction.
Passionate about inclusion and empowerment, Faustina holds a Masters in Finance from the University of Ghana Business school and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. Her dedication to excellence extends to driving positive societal impact.

Samson Addo - Asst. Programme Manager
Samson’s support within the Ghana Somubu Dwumadie spans operations, programmes, and financial management. He has over 12 years of experience working in development work and the financial sector.
He has worked with several civil society organizations in the areas of disability, mental health, economic empowerment, and other social interventions at the regional and national levels. He has worked on projects funded by FCDO, USAID, ILO, Disability Rights Foundation, and Abilis Foundation. He obtained his second degree in economics and also a certificate in Project management as well as M&E.

Michael Tetteh Doku - Communications Officer
Michael Tetteh Doku is a passion-driven communications and advocacy specialist with experience in carrying out communications, campaign, and advocacy strategies. With over a decade of experience in advocating for human rights, social justice, youth partnership, mental health, gender equity, sexual and reproductive health and rights, and environmental sustainability, Michael has worked with and consulted for various governmental and non-governmental bodies, including the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection, the National Youth Authority, and UNICEF.
On the programme, Michael supports all communications efforts including the creation and dissemination of content on digital media platforms.
