Evidence & Effectiveness Grants Most Significant Change Story - ADI: July 2024 (Original version)

Kofi Dake became disabled through an accident in 2021. He was unable to meet the financial burden of care as he was unable to work as before. This led to hardships. He was also stigmatised by his community and called names like Pozzo instead of his real name. Over time he felt suicidal but with the help of Inclusion Ambassadors, he was able to accept his situation. The community was sensitised to stop stigmatising him, paving the way for Kofi to engage in community activities as he explores a new career as a farmer.
