Empowering local communities through granting

Background

All around the world, social behaviour change (SBC) interventions have become crucial for addressing complex health, social, and economic challenges. SBC-based interventions often aim to shift perceptions, attitudes, and practices within spaces, leading to more sustainable and positive outcomes. However, the success of SBC initiatives often hinges on the availability of resources and the capacity of local organisations to implement them effectively. Ghana Somubi Dwumadie leveraged various grant rounds as tools to enable local communities to design and execute tailored interventions that address their unique challenges.
